Common reasons AliExpress looks down when it isn't

What to check before blaming AliExpress

  1. Search for a product — if results load, the site is up.
  2. Try a different payment method if only checkout fails.
  3. Open the site in a browser rather than the app, which caches errors.
  4. Give tracking several days before treating a stale status as a fault.

AliExpress status — frequently asked

Is AliExpress down right now?

AliExpress is up and responding in 646 ms. That reading is from itsnotyou's monitoring servers, 2 minutes ago.

Is it AliExpress that's down, or is it my internet connection?

It can be either — that's the hard part. The status on this page is measured from itsnotyou's monitoring servers, so AliExpress can look healthy here while your own connection is the real problem. The itsnotyou test checks both at once and returns a single verdict in about 10 seconds.

Why is AliExpress loading slowly?

A slow AliExpress usually comes down to one of two things: AliExpress's own servers are responding slowly — itsnotyou measures time to first byte, and anything over 1500 ms is flagged as slow — or your local connection is the bottleneck. Running the test tells the two apart.

How often is AliExpress's status checked?

AliExpress is probed every few minutes, around the clock, from itsnotyou's monitoring servers. The verdict and the 24-hour response-time history on this page update automatically.
