Common reasons Canva looks down when it isn't

What to check before blaming Canva

  1. Open canva.com in a browser — if your designs list loads, Canva is up.
  2. Try exporting a smaller design or fewer pages at once.
  3. Clear the browser cache or use an incognito window if the editor hangs on load.
  4. Check whether your Pro subscription is still active if features disappeared.

Canva status — frequently asked

Is Canva down right now?

Canva is up and responding in 115 ms. That reading is from itsnotyou's monitoring servers, 81 seconds ago.

Is it Canva that's down, or is it my internet connection?

It can be either — that's the hard part. The status on this page is measured from itsnotyou's monitoring servers, so Canva can look healthy here while your own connection is the real problem. The itsnotyou test checks both at once and returns a single verdict in about 10 seconds.

Why is Canva loading slowly?

A slow Canva usually comes down to one of two things: Canva's own servers are responding slowly — itsnotyou measures time to first byte, and anything over 1500 ms is flagged as slow — or your local connection is the bottleneck. Running the test tells the two apart.

How often is Canva's status checked?

Canva is probed every few minutes, around the clock, from itsnotyou's monitoring servers. The verdict and the 24-hour response-time history on this page update automatically.
